Dr. Tony Kerzmann, Engineering Department, SEMS, RMU - 2015 - 2017
Constellation applauded 2015 year’s grant recipients for their energy innovation and creativity. Over the past six years, Constellation’s Energy to Educate program has reached nearly 100,000 students, helping them to build science, math and technology skills through hands-on learning experiences. Winning submissions included projects from schools and community organizations in ten states including Robert Morris University. Student projects include installing solar panels, constructing fuel cells, building and racing electric vehicles, and analyzing building energy efficiency. Constellation Energy was excited to support RMU’s project in collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh to create Energy Inventor Labs with an E2 Energy to Educate grant of $45,000.
